Holiday Glow at the Depot

“Holiday Glow at the Depot” is a color study painted before starting the larger 16″ x 20″ final. I am happy with the spontaneous, and loose feeling in the brushwork on this one. If you are from Tomball you will know this park well for all the festivals. The park in this painting is decked out in Christmas garlands and you can see the city Christmas tree in the background. I think this would make a great holiday decoration, but to me it works just as well the rest of the year.
